This is a final reminder that registration is now open for the 2014 Global Outreach Symposium on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) presented by Dr. Mark Pimentel and the GI Motility Program on Saturday July 19, 2014. The symposium will be a conference for those that can attend in Los Angeles, California, and an interactive live internet simulcast webinar for everyone else in the world. Dr. Pimentel has reported that there are planned attendees from Europe, Canada, South America, Asia and USA.
A team of experts in GI Motility and Gastroenterology have been assembled to present the latest developments in IBS research as it relates to the intestinal microbiome. Our goal is to raise awareness and understanding of the nature and relationship between IBS and SIBO.
Dr. Pimentel will be presenting some of his cutting edge research in IBS at the symposium. He briefly speaks about the microbiome and its relationship to IBS, in this short video:
